Egg throwing creation myth or story?

Question

Does anyone know a story or myth about a woman throwing eggs at the sky to make the stars. I read it as a child but I can not find it on the internet. Thanks for anything even close.

Not sure. All I could find was this website that says an emu's egg was thrown into the sky to create the sun..

I think the story is based loosely on old Pagan myths. I can't find anything of the author of the story you are talking about, but, i am finding that Scandinavian/ Germanic mythology contains similar egg creation themes. For example, the Finnish creation story says the world was created from an exploding waterfowl's egg.The sky was made from the upper cover of the egg, kind of a dome. (Kalevala)
