Eggs After Expiry Date?

Can you still eat eggs that you keep in the fridge after the expiry date, and if so, how many days after the date. Thanks!

yes put them in a pot of cool water if they float they are bad

The USFDA has indicated eggs are fine, if properly refrigerated, for 4 to 5 weeks past the date on the carton.

no we did not eat them throw them or beat them and rub them into hair its good for hair

I woulden't trust them, throw them out.

To find out if they are still good drop it into a glass of water if it sinks it's still good. If it floats throw it away.

I have eaten eggs that were over a month past the expiration date.  Crack the egg into a cup or bowl.  If an egg is bad, you will have no doubt.  It smells really bad.
