  1. My boys don't like eggs but I know my sister started with scrambled with a little milk and cheese in them.

  2. Don't forget that now you are ready to give eggs, it opens up a whole world of cooking beyond just scrambled and boiled eggs (if you're interested that is!). There are so many things that eggs are added to that you can now give your son - eggs bind ingredients really well so there are lots more finger foods you can now make. Like mini pancakes (or flapjacks or pikelets - whatever you like to call them) and you can make them healthier by adding some pumpkin puree (my toddler loves these). Or a quiche or frittata - that's got lots of eggs plus you can add meat or veggies or whatever he likes. You can cut it into slices and serve it warm or cold. Or one of my toddlers absolute favourites is bread and butter custard - you mix milk, a little bit of sugar, a few eggs, vanilla essence and pour it over buttered bread slices & bake it in the oven - kids and adults love it. You can add banana, sultanas or whatever you like. I just love how many more options eggs gave me for cooking for my toddler. Have given you a link here to heaps of great egg recipes. Have fun!

  3. Scrambled is a good way to go.  hard boiled is good, too.  you'll have to experiment to see what he likes as far as texture.  my daughter loves eggs (she's 23 mo.) and I can slip veggies in undetected like spinach and grated zucchini.

  4. scrambled.... I started giving them to my children around 9 months old. It is kinda a finger food, and is very soft. You can put milk in them to make them fluffier.

  5. yeah my daughter started around the 7/8 month mark , we had bacon and eggs one morning and she wanted some so i didnt want to give her bacon so i gave her egg, now she eats boiled , scrambled eggs

eggs are in everything they even make egg custard for babies so it cant be too bad for them

    goodluck

  6. at 18 months you could just cut them into bits and let him eat as finger food...or make soldiers for him...boil the egg and make the centre runny and cut little bits of toast and let him dip it in the middle....I have been giving my baby egg from as soon as he could eat and at 13 months now he loves when i dip it for him and he eats the toast!!!   just make all sorts of things, he is old enough to be eating normal foods!!!

  7. Scrambled would probably be best. Add about a teaspoon of milk for each egg and beat it very well, so it'll be fluffy and easy for him to pick up. Salt it just a little undersalted to your taste, and you can add some cheese while they're still hot.

Make sure the egg is thoroughly done, though. Don't give him anything with a runny or undercooked yolk! He's way, way too young to risk giving him salmonella poisoning.

  8. he should like scrambled milk would be ok i gave my son eggs when he was 8 months
