Question:

Eggwhite CM and ovulation?

Is there a "time frame" if you will from the first sight of EWCM until the time you ovulate? Was just wondering because last night I went to the bathroom and I got LOTS of EWCM out of no where (figuratively), lol, I am only CD 13, dont usually don't get anything until about CD 15+, and it was tinged with a pinkish color. I was just wondering if this means anything or not?? Sorry if TMI but usually the more details the better answers you get anyways. Thanks in advance.

  1. Usually EWCM lasts for only a few days (stopping shortly after ovulation), but some women get it the entire week of ovulation.  Which is great!  The sperm will be well-nourished while waiting for your egg to release.

Like the other lady said, you may ovulate early, or maybe you will ovulate like normal.  Good luck!

  2. Some women can have a day or two of EWCM or none, or they can have a few days. It depends on each woman in that regard, so no, there is no time frame. It typically means ovulation is imminent though.  Also, you CAN ovulate early.
