why is it so.......????

and i personally think that media is the root cause coz they are the ones who create problems in the relationships. The news would be very small like an ant and they'll present it like the elephant ,huge and big..........

what you all think about it?? why sportpersons are egoistics and espeecially indian sportpersons...??? i am an indian but still i feel that.....

  1. The Dictionary meaning of EGO is:-

ego:an exaggerated sense of your own importance and a feeling of superiority to other people

Its quite naturall to have ego clashes between people. People who are at top of their professions, be it sports, cinema or any other field, tend to give themselves too much importance. And they don't respect the authority of others around them....

So, they end up fighting each other and media just makes a mountain out of a mole.... Its not that there haven't been any differences between coaches and players(generally skippers) beforehand, but now-a-days, media has become more independent and more focused. Every thing a famous personality does seem to grab the media eyeballs....

On the other hand, these sports persons should not let all the success go into their head...but it is rarely the case....

When u r as good as Christiano Ronaldo or Saurav Ganguly, u will be famous and u r bound to be followed closely by the media..... but some of them are inherently egoistic...  they are ego-centered first and sports person later(Read Shoaib Akhtar!).... u cant do much in that case...

As far as Indian sports persons are concerned, they are shot to fame within fortnights.... All thanks to media....and the young blood seems to gush more than it should.... and they become inconsiderate and haughty... but only a few of them. Those who remain grounded reach greater heights of success in their professions..
