  1. Great local beer. Stella is the best. Sakkara is ok as well. I would stay away from local spirits if I were you. Enjoy!

  2. Local beer is great stuff, and so it should be they invented the stuff many thousands of years ago, in fact I worked in Egypt, Sinai for 5 years, a free beer ration was part of the deal, One crate per week 12 litres, not enough really.

I don't recall any local spirits, but plenty of imported stuff.

Glad you have got your questions about Egypt into perspective and avoided silly questions like mummies and pyramids.

                               Have a good trip.

  3. been there many times..the local sagara was good..but i really think its up to the individual taste..my hubby would only drink the stella..gin was very strong but tasted quite like CDC gin...have a great trip!!

  4. Alcohol is Haram, and to non Arabic speaking people that means sinful.
