  1. My last trip from NY to Cairo was with Egypt Air. It was very good. Because I'm vegetarian-vegan(i had to order my meal before and i go it). I had no problem soever.  I had 3 empty chairs next to me, so i slept the whole trip(better than a first class).

  2. It's really nice! Unlike many airlines which allow only one bag, Egypt Airline allows 2.

It also has very helpful people, and as soon as you come into the plane, you receive a small package.

    This package includes:

    A keychain

    Bagged toothbrush and toothpaste

(Many airlines don' include the above 2 items)

    Earplugs

    Socks

    Blindfolds

The sanitation of the plane is amazing!

Unlike many planes I've gone to, I found under the seats leftover items from former passengers, like books, pens, etc.

Egypt Air had none of these at all.

And also, the people serving take things very easy. If you didn't buckle the seatbelt, they just tell you nicely to do so and remind you not to worry, because you'll take it off in 5 mins anyway.

And they have choices, too! You either get a chicken, beef, or fish dish, and there are many different drinks.

Many of the people complaining about Egypt Air probably have been on it a long time ago, but I've been on it this year, and it was so much better than Delta.

The food there was nice, the place clean, and simply wonderful.

    Good luck!

  3. bad, very bad, they hire psycho pilots, always late, no alcoholics or pork, check this link:

  4. Only flew Egypy air once to Cairo we swore never again.Sloppy very unproffessional pay a bit more be safer!!!!

  5. i never had any problems, food good, or as good as it gets on a plane, service good, comfortable, a lot better than the english budget alternatives. their time keeping is not always too good though. but on the whole i prefer to fly with them than other airlines when going to egypt.

  6. great experience recently, above my expectations ..

i think they are in their way (or already did) to have cooperation with Lufthanza for transit passengers.

I been in Egypt air many years ago and it was so bad. My recent experience was very good. Clean seats, nice music, good staff.

What I don't like is the airport, even the new hall, I think Cairo deserves a better one.

  7. okay they NEVER served us foul medamis! NEVER! let me jusdt say that its wasnt the best thing there but it was not crappy. its ok actually. i liked the food that they served. it was at least way better than the delta airlines food EVERYONE said it was discusting on th plane....i actually dont think u should worry 2 much about what airlines u should take as long as u get there saftely u should be fine and content i mean the plane ride isnt what ur whole vist revolves around right. the only problem that i had was the flight attendents attitude but dont worry u could just file a complaint if anything

  8. well my uncle since 1964 always come from America to Cairo every single year but he use the first class but for 44 year he never say a word about out  and you have to know that the Egyptian pilot are one of the three best pilot around the world

  9. I flew on this airline several months ago, and had a very pleasant experience. To the contrary of some of the early answers, I found the food to be the best I have found on any airline so far. the stewards kept the environment comfortable and even managed to quietly revive an old woman who shouldn't have been traveling and had a fainting spell.

I flew in Economy class from JFK in New York to Cairo. It was just over 11 hours, and I slept comfortably.

  10. yes its very good comparing to some European airlines like Turkish , Aeroflot and alitalia .

i visit Cairo 4-5 times a year i just book my ticket on Egypt Air , even when going to Europe i use it as a connection and  dont regret it, they r really improved now , food wise and service wise

    go ahead , good luck

  11. Hi Moi. to the contrary of what some of the above "Egypt Bashing" people saying, Egypt Air has just joined Star Alliance, the strongest network of Airlines in the world.

Egypt Air has improved dramatically in the last three years in their successful attempt to join Star Alliance. Please read the feedbacks in proper websites

    http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/egyp...

I flew Egypt air several times. It is not the best, but good value for money. on scale from 1-5, I would rate it 3.5

  12. it has improved lately .

it has joined the Star Alliance .

this means their standards and services have been improved .

go ahead and make your booking om Egypt Air .

  13. I like it.

Much better than several other airlines I have flown with.

  14. Just been on Egypt Air last month for a long-distance return trip to Asia. The airline has experieced LOTS OF IMPROVEMENTS on all aspects as it just joined Star Alliance, the world's most renowned aviation alliance.

Egyptian pilots are known to be amongst the best in the world. I never feel a think during landing or takeoff unlike all other airlines!

    Expect:

    - Timely departure

    - Good pilots

    - Good condition airplanes

    - Above-Okay Service

    - Okay handling of your luggage - not known to lose anything unlike Alitalia!

Egypt Air is a sure-go even for long distance flights! Have fun!

  15. lol.

they serve you foul mademas that gives you "ishael"

    (thats arabic)

its not the greatest. but it does the job.

  16. the economy class is ok. THE BUSINESS CLASS ROCKS. THE CHAIRS ARE MASSAGING CHAIRS. the first class is a massaging bed with a big screen tv and lots of attention.

  17. It's not bad, wouldn't call it a five-star airline though

  18. Economy Class? I flew First Class Egypt Air twice and it was the third worst airline I have ever been on (after Korean Air and Dragon Air). I promised myself and my family we would never fly with them again.

I seemed pretty safe on the plane, but it was extremely dirty, unorganized, and unprofessional.

If you are going to Cario, it is probably the cheapest airline, but I would recommend taking something like British Air, which is also cheap, but a heck of a lot nicer.

And if you absolutley HAVE to take Egypt Air, do not get economy.
