why does the Egyptian civilization was related more to Southeast Asia than to Africa

Egyptian civilization wasn't related to Southeast Asia. Do you mean Southwest Asia, AKA the Middle East? Ancient Egypt was part of that culture.

Look at a map of Africa. Do you see where Egypt is? Good. Can you find the Sahara desert? Good. Now think, how easy would it be for ancient people to cross that desert without cars, planes, or weather reports or even bottled water? Below the Sahara is most of Africa. Most of Africa was cut off from the ancient Egyptians.
