Egypt.....?

Question

hey dear friends, this may be my first time to post a question here, but actually I don't feel estrangement.

OK, let's get to the point of the question;

I'm an Egyptian and curious to know what do you think of Egypt and Egyptian people.

Just let me tell you what I think of India first;

For me, I find great similarities between Egypt and India, actually I find India the most similar country to Egypt, and here's why I think so;

First, both Egypt and India have each a great, old civilization.

Second, there's some similarity between the Egyptian culture and Indian culture, and between Egyptian people and Indians, they share high sense of humor for example.

Sorry for the long question and hope to hear from as many Indian friends as possible, let me know what you think of Egypt the country and civilization, and what about Egyptian people as well, if you have visited Egypt or dealt with some Egyptians.

On my visit to Egypt and dealing with Egyptians I found them to be very pleasant people, very helpful, and appeared to be enjoying life.  I enjoyed the belly dancing by Fifi Abadoo.  It is a mix of old and new - donkey carts mixed with Mercedes.

Egypt is a fantastic country - from the antiquities to seeing the sugar cane growing along the Nile.

It's not as crowded as India - and the amount of poverty seen in India is not so apparent in Egypt.

i was personally in egypt in 1989, and it was a thrill! i went into gaza strip and toured a perfum factory, went into the valley of the kings, rode a camel for the 1st time. the people there went out of there way for me. beautiful country and once in a lifetime experience.

well egypt is a most ancient country.& one of  beatifull place to tour .when we talk abt people all people r not the same but most of egyptians r tempered minded . and i didnt see indian & egyptian same in any thing absoltly differ frm each other in culture knowledge & riligion

On my visit to Egypt i have found out that Egypt and India even have the same land feature and environment. And Egyptians can be very friendly, but some be a little too attaching.

The one good thing about India is that so many types of people are present there, and they are usually accepted by each other. Afterall, India is a secular country.

I think people of India feel the same way. We like EVEYONE! :)

Personally, I think of Egyptians as part of a really smart and old civilization. But, I have never been to Egypts so perhaps I should not be answering this question.
