Hi, you should ideally book with a travel agent, as everything is provided for you. You can personalise your itinery even booking through travel agents.

Where you go and what you would like to see will vary on your personality and interests.

Some people like diving in the Red Sea in places like Sharm and Hughada, which are beautiful places to see. From Sharm you can also see some of the Sinai - which is a great place to see. You can go to the Red Canyons in the desert - absolutely amazing...you travel in jeeps, climb into deep natural canyons, walk through canyons, see the most amazing scenery, and eat in a bedouin camp. You can also arrange camel treks into the desert with bedouin guides, and sleep on the beach, as well as visiting some amazing places, like Ras Mohamed and natural mud baths and diving into deep natural pools. You can also visit St. Catherines Monastery, located at the foot of Mount Moses and built around Moses' Burning Bush, which has a chapel built atop it.

From here you can walk or ride a camel to the top of the biblical peak on the mountain where Moses received the 10 commandments.Travel agents can arrange any of this.

Or you may like the tranquility of a Nile cruise - absolutely fantastic.

If you are interest in ancient sites, there is no shortage of them in Egypt. Trips to these are also included in the cruise.

I have had many different types of holidays in Egypt, and experienced many activities. You need to think about what you want to see and do. If your interests vary, and you want to see ancient sites as well as popular resorts, then I would suggest for two weeks you could follow this itinery:-

Cairo - 3 days, see the Pyramids, museum markets, get a feel for the place.

Fly to Luxor for a 4 or 7 day cruise, which will include visits to the most amazing sites, and give you a wonderful variety of experiences. In addition you will see amazing sunsets behind the dark shadows of palm trees while sipping your drink on top deck. Tranquil! Ideally you need to do the 7 day cruise to really relax and get the most enjoyment out of it.

Fly to Sharm for 4 days enjoy the beaches and sea.

If you had a 4 day cruise, then you may want to spend more time in and around Sharm, or alternatively, 3 days in Alexandria.

in fact it is difficult to decide which part you should see cause this will depend on your interests, some people interesting in the old culture some prefer relaxing , some would like adventure,

You should ask for a travel agency and get your tours time before, because mmany times booking in cruise or hotels is not easy, and is the same price.

Cairo for 2 days:

Egyptian museum, citadel, Giza pyramids and Sphinx, Sakara, Memphis.

In the Evening the sound and light show at the pyramids, a Nile cruise in a large boat with dinner and show for 2 hours.

Luxor and Aswan 4 days:

Take a Nile cruise in a floating hotel between the 2 cities. This is really nice, it includes visiting the temples and tombs of Luxor which is unmatched by anything else anywhere else.

Alexandria for 1 day:

visit the Roman theater, the Library of Alexandria and the citadel. Have lunch at St Giovani restaurant by the sea.

Sharm el Sheikh7 days:

This for sea sports, fun and relaxation, it is a red sea resort which is very popular where you can swim, snorkel, dive and make short trips to Ras Mohamed, St Catherine, Dahab and Nowebaa.
