Egypt trip itinerary help

Question

I have to plan a 5-7 day tour to visit historical milestones in Egypt, and it has to be timed (eg 0800-1000 sphinx, 1000-1020 travel time) but the thing is, I've never been to Egypt so I'm not sure how long checking out tombs and travel time would take. It is hard to answer this question in the way you require. The traffic in & around Cairo is so heavy therefore there are always congestion. Sorry but you will need half & full days to visit the historical attractions in order to take in every detail!  The Sphinx & Pyramids are in the same area so half a day, as for travel time, hard to put time limit.
