  2. Yes i used to hear him every night in Nasr City, near Abbas El Akkad.

But now here in the UAE, there is absolutely nothing to tell u that this is the holy month of Ramadan and i truly miss this month in Egypt, its a totally different feel. The way people meet you on the street during Maghreb time and give u some dates or some juice, the way the streets are decorated, the fanous, mawa2ed el Rahman, the selling points for all Ramadan necessities from nuts to amar el deen.

The general feel of the holy month, the way the city comes to live after breakfast, all the cafes, el Fishawey and Al Azhar, the beautiful mosques and tarawee7 prayers.

But you know what i miss most of all...... The family, the friends, the neighbors all the people that make life worth living and this month a true celebration.

Ramadan Kareem everybody, i really miss Egypt.

After a few minutes, someone else knocks and says: "kol sana we entum tayeben, ana ibn el mesaharaty!"
