Eh. Camera Problem?

It's the Sony Cybershot.

For some reason, whenever I take a picture and click review, the photo is put back with photos taken months ago instead of right at the end like what it always did before.. did i change a setting, because this is really starting to bug me. And I just remembered I hit DPOF [ i dont even know what it is ] and I think that is what caused it. How do I change it back? And what is DPOF?

OHHH. AND... The date is fine.

The thing is, like when I take a picture, sometimes it will be right there, and sometimes it moves it back with other pictures from like a month ago. And when I delete a picture, it won't keep me in the same place as it used to, it will go back to a different picture that wasn't right after it.

And on the number thing, as in which picture your viewing, sometimes it will say [2/220] when normally it says [219/220] which is correct...

Please answer, thanks.

  1. DPOF (Digital Print Order format) is a format which allows the user of a digicam to define which captured images on the storage card are to be printed, together with information on the number of copies or other image . Read the owners manual again to familiarize yourself

  2. Your file setup with the initial camera setting is incorrect.

    Let me explain:

In the menu, you have setup which file you want your pics. to be stored in. You have not chosen that. So, it uses the last best known file.

How do you correct? Easy way or hard way?

Easy way: download all your pics to your computer. Reformat your memory card. Go into menu to make sure that there are no files. Take a few pics. See if where they should be. Erase. Give a file name. Take a few pics. See now if where they should be. If all this works, then you have corrected it.

Hard way: Oh, never mind. Do the easy one, you will be pleased with the results.
