  1. Early morning to go up -  less people.

Evening to admire the tower itself - there are some lovely reasonably priced restaurants in the area around rue Cler which is not far away, so you could go for a meal then wander over to admire the tower and the Seine.

Be careful - I met my husband under the tower 24 years ago - you may never go home... ;o)

PS. Think of me when you see the bronze bust of Mr Eiffel - that's where I was standing.

  2. seen the tower but never went up I am Jealous

  3. go at night

its pretty with all the lights

    have fun

  4. morning is the best time to go i thin its less busy n it gets realy busy after mid day :) n go on a week day say monday morning? if you have time...if not than sunday :)

  5. Obviously coby8v has never left the States.  Poor guy.

Go at night - during the dinner hour around 9 - 10 pm  as most people go during the day.  Bonne chance!

  6. First of all. Why would you want to go to the top of that **** monument? Do you know how many wonderful sites we have here in the U.S.? Paris sux anyway. Next time go to Wyoming!

  7. Go as early as you can to try and beat the crowds.

  8. i loved the eiffel tower,, i saw it on day and on night,, i cant decide which one i like better,, its beautfil... u better see it on day and on night

  9. It depends on what you want to see (for the time of day). At night they light up the Eiffel Tower and about every hour they make start to sparkle for a few minutes and its really pretty. Plus at the top you get to see the city all lit up and its a gorgeous view. They also dont turn on too many light at the top so the city lights are really visible and breath-taking. But if you go during the day, it might be a little scarier at the tope, because its easier to really take in everything and realize how high you actually are. But either time of day will be an amazing experience that you'll remember for a long time.

    Enjoy your trip!

  10. ACTUALLY I HAD BEEN TO PARIS A FEW DAYS AGO.

The best time to see EIFFEL TOWER will be 10 in the night.bcoz it will look very beautiful at that time.not only bcoz of the light ,but bcoz there will be special light decorations at 10 in the night for 15 mins only.i was lucky enough to get to see it.if u want to go right uo the tower, then i think its better u b near  the tower very early in the morning.the best day to go would b friday.on all the 4 sides of the tower there are ticket counters.its really costly.i had gone right up the tower.the view was breathtaking.u will thoroughly  enjoy it.HAPPY JOURNEY!!

  11. The best time to visit the tower is morning.  Go as soon as it opens.  If not, you will be surrounded by groups of school kids.  Yes, they go in group lines, but just the mere crowd will dampen your experience.  If you're a real thrill seeker, go to the top level.  I recommend only going to the second level.  The view is the best there.  In the daylight, you will be able to see SO many things.  As a side note, the cheesy cafe on the second level happens to have the best french fries I've ever had.  no joke.  you'd never expect it.... anyway.....  The best time to look at the tower from a distance is night time.  If you're on it at night, you don't get the full effect.  Looking at it from a distance at night is breathtaking.

    I will be there 7/11//8 - 7/24/8

    Bon voyage!

  12. It is lovely at night but if you're looking to get a good view of Paris then obviously you should go during the day.

The tower lights up at night and the lights sparkle on the hour every hour at night.  I'd actually reccommend not being on the tower for this as it looks much better if you can see it from a distance or see the whole tower.  When you're on it, you can't really get the full effect.

Try going up in the morning or afternoon.  There'll be queues anytime of day so it just depends when you fancy going.  If you want, you could go up in the morning and have breakfast there! (Though the restaurants are very expensive, so maybe bring up your own croissants or pain au chocolat or whatever!)

    Have fun.

  13. if i were you,  i would wait till the last day to do that BUT the Eiffel is very beautiful at night and your leaving Monday evening so i say you should do it Sunday night

  14. If you want to go up, go in the morning, there is less people and you'll get a good view from the top, if it's cloudy or very hot you won't see very far, best to go on a clear day. Also from the very top, you can look for the flag of your country and see in which direction you came from! last detail, you can take the stairs or the lift up to the 2nd floor, for the very top, it's lift only (good for the legs!!!).

To see it from the bottom, at night, from the trocadero (accross), it is indeed very pretty!
