  1. Man i thought i could answer any pool question

play for low money or nothing till you see how your game is tonight then go huntihg just dont become the hunted if it takes more than 2 trips to the table you better pass on my place or try darts

  2. This is a little short notice.  8-ball can be a defensive game.  Make sure you agree on the rules before you begin.  I prefer to play by world-standardized (BCA) rules, but your opponents may not like or be familiar with them.  You don't always have to take every shot available if by doing so, it will leave you without good position.  Don't underestimate safety play.  You will win a lot more games by positioning your balls strategically around the table, as opposed to taking risky shots and uncertain cue ball position.  For a more effective break shot, make sure you hit the head ball full-on.  Don't deviate to the right or left even a little bit.   If you hit the head ball full, you will be transferring all of the cue ball's energy into the rack and the cue ball will stay in the middle of the table, giving you the greatest number or options after the break shot.  It doesn't really matter where you place the cue ball.  Bear in mind that you don't have to break with an excessive amount of force to get good results if you have a proper stroke and hit your target.  If you're serious about improvement, I would recommend you look into getting lessons from a certified instructor.  When you break your game down to it's most basic elements, you'll see improvement like you never though possible.  Best of luck.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  3. I hope your not playing for any big money. I would just stick to the easy shots that you know you can make. Just concentrate on positioning the cueball for the next shot.
