Eight main events left in the remaining WPT Season X in 2012 - Poker News
Reaching its halfway point, the WPT (World Poker Tour) Season X still has eight Main Events left, which will be held in 2012. An impressive schedule is swanked in the next calendar, which include domestic and international tournaments, to conclude the WPT Season X in May.
Four of the remaining Main Events will be held in the United States, attracting the big names in WPT to take part in. Los Angeles Poker Classic will be the first stop on the American voyage, held in the Commerce Casino in February, followed by the Bay 101 Shooting Star in March. Back-to-back stops in Florida will include the second Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in April and then the inaugural stop at the Jacksonville Poker Room will conclude the WPT Main Events in the United States.
The remaining four Main Events will be played on different venues across the globe, with a new stop in Dublin, Ireland, in January. A return visit to Venice, Italy, in the following month will start the European swing of WPT, with WPT Vienna in March, a tournament which turned out to be the record largest players filed at the WPT Main Events in Europe last year.
The WPT Season X will conclude in May, with the most prestigious event of the year, the WPT World Championship at the Bellagio. Following is the look up at the upcoming 2012 WPT schedule:
