ok, so it'll be my eighteenth birthday in july, and i live in the seattle area. i would love something totally spectacular, cuz i've already planned the parties of all my closest friends (they asked me cuz i'm good at this sorta thing) but i really would love some new, original ideas! it can't be too expensive, and i kinda want it to be an overnighter sort of thing. some ideas i've sorta liked but don't know where to go with them are

roadtrip to the beach

black and white party

ballroom dancing

ice cream social

anything fun, creative, and adventuresome!!!

there'll be at least 10 people, and it's co ed (don't worry though it'll be all good clean fun!)

i would love something really cute and special, something easy to do and maybe a little romantic, cuz my boyfriend is coming too :)

please help me soon!

thanks so much!

  1. HALOOOOO PARTYYYYYYYY!!!!!

  2. There are so many choices and themes for 18th birthday... I found this site very interesting.... just visit the site and select 18th milestone...

    http://www.partystuffonline.co.uk

I think that would be easy for you to decide

  3. Black and White parties can be challenging but you can come close! Look in your local second hand store for black and white sheets and blankets to use for table coverings, wall hangings or draperies to set off part of the room. Add flair with black and white balloons and crepe paper (pretty inexpensive). If you can't afford black and white roses (which can get expensive fast), try making fake flowers out of tissue paper. Gather the paper in the center and secure it with some black or white pipe cleaners. Silver is usually allowed at a black and white party, so use what you have available like candleholders or plates from a party supply store. You can create your own accents out of silver paper like stars and the moon to hang from the ceiling (using fishing wire or black thread) and spread it on the floor and tables. Use black invitations and write on them with silver and white gel pens. Make sure your guests know that they're only allowed to wear black and white. Food is a little tricky, so you may have to break the rules a little. Think Oreos, white cheesecake with black or white frosting, black beans, white cheese, pasta, and olives.

  4. you could have a luau theme party

there is a bunch of stuff at oriantal trading but that isnt how you spell it look it up at google... im doing it in the evening were i can turn on lights and stuff and we going to have spot lights on the pool. im going to have smokeys and hamburgers and meatballs and little things to snack on.

i will have drinks like pina coladas, margaritas, strawberry daqeriues, and orange puch, not to mention soda and all them will be virgin(non alcholic). i will have eprsonilized margarita glasses, glow in the dark necklaces, and glow in the dark martini glasses.and glow in the dark straws but im getting all the stuff from oriental trading that is the best place ohh yeah and im buying leis too but you should go there

not to mention good for both genders

  5. how about camping..going out camping with a bunch of friends, have a fire, set up tents, bbq, junk food

im still deciding what to do for my 18th too =) goodluck!

  6. ballroom dancing, black and white party; come on!

how clich'e, you have to do something crazy and completly

spontainious and random, like idunno... go skydiving, try

acid for the first time and run naked through an aquarium,

save the rain forrest, play w/ matches; i don't care...

but for the love of god don't have a d**n icecream social!

  7. A luau party theme and play the limbo, visit http://www.pinatas.com/Luau_Party_Theme_... for more ideas!

  8. My friend had a really good idea for one of her birthday parties, to make it a really kids style party. Everybody dressed up as fairies (it was all girls though, sorry!) and traveled around the city in a limo, there were lots of great little ideas in it like serving fairy bread and softdrink. They thought it was a really good idea and it was heaps of fun! Sorry if this is not really your style, but maybe you can expand on it? It's your eighteenth so whatever you decide to do, go over the top and have fun!

  9. I like the beach idea, big fire where you can cook s'mores, hotdogs on sticks or a clam bake with potatos, corn, sausage, shrimp l\or lobster but it's kinda pricey and of course clams, great music on a boom box, lots of blankets to snuggle in. flowers, linens and real china would make it special.
