Eighth grade science fair

Question

i'm in the eighth grade and we have a science fair project due in the next couple of weeks. here's the thing; i have no idea how to carry this out. all of the ideas i have seen on multiple websites confuse me. i have no clue how to carry out an experiment or pick a topic? could someone please help me(:

When in doubt, do something that has to do with the environment.

You should do what I did when i was in school. I did a homemade water purifier. It's super easy and you can pretty much find everything you need at a Target, WalMart, and/or  supermarket.

And you can test different types of water and how long it takes to "purify"
