The Eagles’ manager Armin Veh has urged the club to secure the future of the defender, who could be on his way next summer.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 reportedly wanted the player in this year’s summer transfer window, but the move could
not capitalise.
If reports are to be believed, clubs such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and Schalke are also interested to sign the midfielder at the end of the season and Eintracht Frankfurt are preparing a new deal to keep the player at the Commerzbank-Arena.
Jung’s current deal with the Frankfurt based outfit ends in two years time, after which he can leave for a fee of £2 million- according to a clause in his contract. So, the club want the player to accept a new deal so that they
could keep hold of their prized asset.
Manager Armin Veh claimed that Jung is a very valuable player for the team and the side cannot afford to let the defender go. He is willing to keep his key players as the club look to cement their place in the first division.
The tactician has urged the club bosses to make sure that the defender stays at the club as he is an important part of his plans for the future.
“Sebastian Jung is a valuable player for our team. The fact he is a homegrown talent just makes him more valuable. You should not sell a player like that. You need to work out a new contract soon enough,” Veh was quoted as saying
in an interview.
On the other hand, Eintracht Frankfurt’s general manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bruno-c8098 Hubner revealed that the club are willing to negotiate a new deal with the player as they are determined to keep him.
“We are out to negotiate a new contract with Sebastian Jung. We want to keep him at our club,” the chief stated.
Sebastian Jung has thus far made 76 league appearances for the Eagles and has scored two times in the process.
