Sporting Gijon’s Gregory Arnolin believes Real Madrid are better than Barcelona – La Liga News

Gregory Arnolin of Sporting Gijon has voiced his opinion stating that he believes Real Madrid to be better than Barcelona at the moment.
According to the defender, Los Blancos are the better side heading into Saturday’s El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid currently lead the La Liga standings, having an advantage of three points over their fierce rivals and second-place holders, Barcelona. With just one defeat and one draw in the season’s campaign so far, things are looking better and better for
Jose Mourinho’s men.
In addition to their remarkable form in the Spanish Primera, Madrid have been outstanding in Europe as well. The Whites qualified for the knock-out stage of the UEFA Champions League as winners of Group D, managing to secure three points in all of the fixtures
they played in the group stages.
Although Barcelona have been crowned the Champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 consecutively for the last three seasons, Arnolin has argued that it is highly possible for things to be different this time around.
The Frenchman’s own side, Sporting Gijon, were defeated 3-0 by Real Madrid at home, whereas Barcelona defeated them only 1-0.
Having seen both teams play, Arnolin has claimed that Madrid were definitely a step ahead of the Catalans. Furthermore, he stated that Jose Mourinho is in command of a more complete team at Real Madrid.
While talking to Goal.com, the Sporting Gijon defender was quoted as saying:
"Right now it's Real, there's no discussion. It's the same for me, Barcelona are the best team in the world. We must remember that Real are superior at the moment, notably thanks to their coffers. I'll give you an example. Against us, [Gonzalo] Higuain went
off and [Karim] Benzema came on. [Mesut] Ozil went off and Kaka came on. With Barca, if http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Villa-c10629 goes off, it's [Isaac] Cuenca who takes his place."
While discussing Saturday’s clash, the Frenchman expressed that he is unable to pick a favourite as he expects the match to be very competitive.
"There is no favourite for me. In my opinion, it will be equal. Perhaps 51-49 in Real Madrid's favour, no more. There is no champion in December. Especially in La Liga."
