Elaine's Rondel redone. How can I improve it?

"Inspiration Dance" - rondel

We poets dance on planet Mars,

forgetting all the woes of Earth,

the motherland that gave us birth

but also gifts of prison bars.

Away from chaos screeching cars,

we build a home of cheer and mirth.

We poets dance on planet Mars,

forgetting all the woes of Earth.

Beyond our pain we cherish scars

to redefine our own self-worth,

by self-creating our rebirth

and reaching always for the stars.

We poets dance on planet Mars.

The use of repetition - is used very nicely here. What usually is coarse - to my ear - is very soothing - when applied to this piece.  Well done ♥
