Question:

Elbow problems help anyone!!

Okay so i do a lot of pull ups and chin ups exersizes along with weighted chins with usually around 50 extra lbs. But now my elbow hurts really bad. Only the right one. Its been hurting for a week and hurts whenever i straighten it. Do you think it is from the pull ups or do you think its from the fact that i can crack my right elbow and have for about a year. If it is the cracking i will stop.

  1. Please see an Orthopaedic doctor for an accurate diagnosis. Ask around & see which doctor is the best before you make an appointment.  


  2. i dont know about the pull ups, but my elbow cracks all of the time too. it does hurt sometimes. however i don't know how to help it. mine usually goes away by itself. sorry if i'm not much help

  3. well not to scare you but, my grandfather also had a hurting RIGHT elbow and he went to the doctor about come to find out that is one of the 1st signs of a heart attack.    i would try to get an appointment with your doctor  soon.        and i would also STOP LIFTING WEIGHTS!

  4. you have to wear the pads or straps for ur elbows if you dont then the bone in ur upper side of ur lower hand will start sticking out and if u hit a wall or something with that bone sticking out it hurts like a *****  it happened to me when i did weight lifting
