Elecrical engineering(A good answer a good reward)?

Question

My phillips dvd (karaoke) and flatron flat television are connected.

When i tune in to tv chanels both tv speakers are functioning but when i switch to dvd only one tv speaker is functioning.

Now am asking the experts that what is the problem.Can it be the connections?????

I need serious answers.

Swith the red and white cables. If the sound now comes from the other side, you have a bad cable.

You have those 5 wire COMPONENT cables connected to your DVD player and your FLATRON......

And you haven't checked both ends of the cable and RESEATED the connectors to get your audio back....

Those cables have a tendency to slowly Disconnect over time because of their weight....
