Describe some of the precautions you should take when connecting MIMS cables to an elctric pump where there may be some vibration in normal use:

  1. Don't connect the cable (at the end opposite the pump motor) directly to anything rigid.  Leave a service loop in the cable before attaching the other end to the juction box, or rigid conduit.

    Use rubber washers at the pump junction box, if it is allowed by code.
