  1. Hi fellow Clevelanders!  I live in the ATL area now, but I love Ohio!

We did our own electrical work on our house in Brook Park.  In BP you have to have your home inspected by the city before you sell, they make sure that any updates you made to the house were done properly and up to code.  The only thing we had to fix was some wiring in the garage (it was open and we had it put in conduit, and that was from the previous owners).

If you know what your doing, then I just ask that you be safe.

    Good Luck!

  2. You can physically run the wire about your basement as long as you follow the building code. However if this is a permit job the final connections must be made by a licensed electrician and inspect the code official.

  3. I would be very careful about tinkering with electricity!  I would call a licensed professional in dealing with the matter!  You could give yourself quite a shock or even burn your home down!  It's worth getting a professional!

    good luck
