Question:

Election 2008: Does performance influence your vote?

1. Is showmanship a determining factor in making your decision for President of the United States of America?

2. Or are you more driven by the candidates (though inconsistent) views on the issues that effect you personally?

3. Or are you motivated by the candidates experience or voting history on the issues that effect you personally?

4. Or are you passive about this election, and will vote for whomever the majority thinks will do a better job?

Just curious......still undecided in my vote.

  1. I just read:

“Russia's Black Sea Fleet is capable of destroying NATO's naval strike group currently deployed in the sea within 20 minutes”

“Russia's General Staff said on Tuesday there were 10 NATO ships in the Black Sea - three U.S. warships, the Polish frigate General Pulaski, the German frigate FGS Lubeck, and the Spanish guided missile frigate Admiral Juan de Borbon, as well as four Turkish vessels. Eight more warships are expected to join the group.”

No wonder US and UK are suppressing the news not reporting further on Georgia conflict. What do you think ?

  2. I vote on the issues! but the DNC rock the house and reminded me why i am a Democrat and why we stand for! i suggest to visit both websites and look at where each candidate stands and make your decision on that! that what i did!

  3. Thanks---Valid question.

performance very much influences my vote---and we all should check the voting records of every official we vote for----I will continue to stay an independent as I feel all of the parties need to keep on their toes to 'earn' votes----if we all did that perhaps we would see more good qualified candidates from both parties rather than counting on guaranteed votes from dyed in the wool party regulars.

another way to state this would be to use an old addage:

"If you are not a part of the solution-----you are a part of the problem"

I feel Obama promised change----but McCain delivered the goods in this fine lady.

  4. I am voting Obama. I wanted hillary but shes out and obama is a lot better than McCain and Hillary is supporting Obama! Obama is more about the things I beleive in! I think we need a person who understands hard work doesnt always pay off! McCain has 7 houses, dont think the economic is bad and thinks that middle class is rich lol I am tired of what bush has done! I want Obama!
