The only solution according to me to stop corruption in Indian Politics is election commission should not allow any politician to contest the election for the second time. New candidate only chosen for that place. Because if you allow politician to contest election for the second time. He knew very well how to make corruption and he knew very well in and out of politics and bribe. He is master in bribe. Every new candidate only contest the election then only bribe in all departments should disappear

1kg rice for Rs.2

Free Gas Stove with cylinder

Free Computer

Like so many attractive poll announcements by the politicians, but in reality they are not fulfilling their promise made to the public at the time of polls. But still again and again these people vote for them and become ministers and allow politicians to do corruption time and again. When these people understand the real face of politicians why Indian people fail to think of alternatives. What is the permanent solution to this problem.

  1. YOU SAID

    1kg rice for Rs.2

    Colour TV

    Free Gas Stove with cylinder

    Free Computer

sounds like DMK (Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam)

    leader DR. K Karunanidh

I DON'T SEE THE REASON WHY WE SHOULD GIVE THEM THE  1ST CHANCE TOO.

ALL OUR (INDIAN) POLITICAL STRUCTURE IS CONSIST OF OLD, SO CALLED EXPERIENCED, ETC.. POLITICIANS. CLAIMING THAT THEY KNOW WHAT INDIA WANTS. THEY ONLY KNOWS HOW TO SWINDLE INDIA BASTA#*S.

IT HAS BECOME FAMILY BUSINESS IN SOME CASE LIKE SONIA GANDHI, RAHUL GANDHI, INDRA GANDHI, Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah, Sheikh Abdullah, LALLU PRASAD YADHAV, RABRI  (robbery) DEVI  AND MANY MORE.  ruling India has been a family business TO ALL THESE PEOPLES.

THE MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH US THE INDIANS WE ARE COWARDS (ACTUALLY). WE DON'T HAVE A ENOUGH GUTS TO FIGHT THEM BACK. IF WE ALL INDIANS WAKE UP TOGETHER FROM THIS DELUSION. WE CAN KICK THEIR BACK SIDE.  AND ELECT SOME ONE WHO IS WORTHY ENOUGH LIKE DR. ABDUL KALAM (WHO WAS A GREAT LEADER).

IT NOT ME OR YOU CAN CHANGE THE FACE OF THIS COUNTRY BUT EVERYONE UNITING, FIGHT  TOGETHER, WHEN WE DON'T SEE THE THINGS SO CALLED CAST, CREED, RELIGION ETC.. WE CAN SHINE .

  2. election commission does not make laws it follows laws made by lawless elements, for lawless actvities .

  3. First and foremost, all politicians and ministers should be prohibited by law from announcing and awarding

freebies,ex-gratia,solatia,cash awards etc.If any such awards are made, they should immediately be recovered from the personal account of the person

making the award. If the amount can't be recovered within 7 days, the person's election should be declared null and void and he/she should be banned from contesting for the next 20 years. Also, all MLAs and MPs

should be asked to produce full accounts with receipts for the MLA's or MP's funds allocated for carrying out

development projects in their respective constituencies.

All elected representatives should be allowed only restricted use of telephone and other free facilities.

Once they demit office, within 48 hours they should be made to vacate their official quarters. If they don't they should be forcibly ejected from their quarters immediately after the expiry of the 48 hour period. No grace period should be allowed.Meanwhile as a matter

of abundant caution, their bank accounts should be frozen and all dues immediately recovered from the

frozen accounts.Payment of personal cheques should be allowed only after the Accountant General's office certifies that there are no dues payable by the person.

These are but a few steps that should be taken to stop all the corruption.Further steps can be developed along these lines.Once the representatives realise that their

profligacy will not be tolerated, gradually all the lumpen elements will withdraw from the poltical scene giving way to new incumbents who will think twice before embarking on any such adventure and playing with state funds as if these are their private and personal property.

  4. Most of these are the schemes are implemented already in Tamilnadu by Karnanidhi. He performed before promising for the elections.

Every government can afford to give rice for Rs. 2. The food grains wasted and spoiled in warehouses can fill the stomachs of all poor people in India. It is not a favor or achievement; It is the duty of every ruler to feed their citizen.

If the people are kept hungry, the government will have to spend more money on crime and countering terrorism.

  5. protests or put sense on people by a canpaigain and if u r not corrupt india is also not

  6. If you are free from corruption,

There is no corruption in India.

  7. impossible to implement. this is against the consitutional rights of any indian citizen

  8. Before grappling with the problem (per se), better to draw conclusions from past.

    1. Electoral process with which all Indians are familiar by now is a fairly recent phenomenon, hardly a century old (I'd put its starting point at 1936). Prior to that its a rank 'feudal' system that was in operation. But its inertia of several millennia cannot be wished away and will manifest itself. Elections mean 'one man one vote' that is the anti-thesis of feuadal structure. It has become a permanent feature with social stratification a permanent feature.

    2. It is said that our ancestors (back in several centuries, millennia) had an ideal state structure and 'all' people lived happily. If it is so how Indian society lay supine under the onslaught of successive waves of Mongols, Tukic marauders, Scythians, Europeans of various hues?

There was simply no vitality in the society where an overwhelmingly large proportion were denied or made indifferent to the decision process to face this onslaught. This leads to a situation where state-craft becomes a 'game' in the hands of kings, emperors and potentates.

    3. India was unified under the sezerainty of an emperor (Asoka, Akbar, Alauddin Khilji & Aurangzeb being the most successful), but when it weakened it splintered into dozen pieces. Really participatory central governance was possible only after the British unified the country, albeit for their good.

    Now, coming to the question:

Post-independence feudal structure found a nice & cozy environment in the election processes. To defeat this, there should be a ceiling on  re-election of politician, even to the legislature or a local body, beyond second time. Every post shall be a post of profit as every post entails some coveted perquisities. Also this should be applicable to his wife (or her husband), offspring, parents, parents-in-law, first cousins, first nephews, nieces or (direct) grand children. While care should be taken that it should not infringe on fundamental rights of an individual to contest an election. That shouldn't be difficult.

As an additional fact, 'caste' is a factor. There is no point to tag it 'good' or 'bad'. But I think I am going beyond the scope of question.
