  1. Wow! An essay.

    1.  This election has the normal political banter but has two historic candidates.  Obama, the first person of color to be nominated for president by a major party.  Some would claim him to be black but he has other race(s) as well.  Sarah Palin is the first woman to receive the republican vice presidential nomination.

2 . I don't have a crystal ball.  If we change would to should my answer is McCain.

    3.  The notion that taxing the rich to provide more for the poor is noble but wrong.  If this isn't part of economics 101 it should be.  The rich people invest and provide capital for the economic engine in this country.  In order for them to invest (which the don't have to.  They don' need an income to survive) someone or something has to convince them it is worth it to do so.  At the following link we can see that the richest 20% of the population pay 79% of the tax burden and the middle 7% pay only 7%.

The lowest 20% don't pay in but receive 2% of the tax burden in benefits.  You could double this amount by altering budget appropriations.  The amount of revenue generated by taxes is governed by the amount earned by investing and/or labor etc. Stifling investment by taxing reduces revenue.

    4. Same as 2.

    5.  Same as 3 but add to that the president is commander in chief of the armed forces.  When you choose a commander the last guy on the list is the guy who wants to surrender.

    6.  McCain.

    7.  No.

    8.  Not that I can think of.

    9.  When Barak Obama wanted to launch his career ( a time when you choose a like thinker ) he went to Bill Ayers, a declared enemy of the United States.  His self proclaimed favorite author is Frank Marshall Davis who was a declared Communist and Soviet sympathizer.  By taking these views he virtually declares that our country is unacceptable.

    10.  No I  think some one who finds this country unacceptable is himself unacceptable.

  2. McCain.

(sorry, no time for 10 questions)
