Electric Bicycle - Looking for about a 30mi range. Any help?

I initially set forth to make my own but I'm so busy lately and I would very much like to reap the benefits of an electric vehicle sooner. I need one that can offer at least a 30 mi range but I cant seem to find one. If its impossible then do u have any suggestions on building one that can support such distance?

  1. Schwinn makes one that claims to give 100 km range with average pedalling. But with average pedalling it  will move at half speed, forever.

The top speed is 28 km/h with or without pedalling, before the motor just idles. You can go downhill faster, since you are not dependent on electric power.

They make a model that is rated for heavier riders, up to 120 kg. The standard unit is intended for riders up to 70 kg.

  2. I've been doing research on this for myself and here's the best that I've found. It actually looks like a motorcycle and is street legal as one too.

top speed of 70 MPH and a 50 mile range sounds good to me.

Or if you mean electric bike literally try this

  3. Sure, 30 mile ranges are well within reach now.

If you get a cyclone with the big batteries, that will do you well.

There are so many questions to ask to get you the best setup though:  Terrain, load, speed, frame type, budget, features,  your pedal assist, your size, etc.

another one is Bionx, the easiest to build:

Batteries give you the range, so you want  a big one or two.

Or just buy a EZEE Sprint but get an extra battery:

Or I can build you a cyclone.
