  1. I would like to see how much someone is paying to fuel (charge) their electric vehicle.

Right now we are burning pricey fuels to get that electricity.  Most of the worlds electrical energy comes from non-renewable resources, such as coal and oil.  Nuclear makes up a bit of the generation, but then you have to contend with nuclear waste, (which we don't have an answer too).  Renewable energy; solar, hydro-electric, biomass, ect. make up only a small portion.  Once we have robust renewable generation of electricity, the electric car will really come to the forefront.

  2. Most of the technologies are being developed right now. They are expensive-want to give me $70 million to build you one? Plus we need the new electricity. Go to CoolingEarth.org to learn more

  3. The oil producers, and thier consequent industries, have held the world transportation needs  hostage to thier supply infrastructures. This is conquer and destroy 101. The electric providers where allowed to shrink, with some respect. The world today, is nothing more than this same compromise. Stop oil as it is allowed to grow and invite electricity to fill this gap. The show-down must happen for all to judge. Electrics  are far from the same maturity of internal combustion engines. When electrics do catch-up (for world supply and satisfication), oil will seem so antiquated. The thought that ,that  was allowed to prosper as long as it did, will no longer haunt society. This blatent aspect of humanity  has no place in modern society. You must give life to what is right and true,as the anchient's prescribed, as true and rightious in the books they admit, as Holy Word!

  4. We're getting there.  The battery technology is now approaching a point where we can have high speed, long range, and long lasting EVs with lithium ion batteries.  See the link below for further details.

  5. it's a combination of Oil company lobbying and lack of consumer interest that keeps EV's from really taking off. A lotof people are lead to believe that they are junk or are more polluting.

non of this holds water any more. EV's with Lithium technology can do up to 135 mph and get over 200 miles per charge, more than enough for almost a week of driving for many.

EV's run at 90% efficiency as opposed to 25% that gas cars operate, meaning they take far less electricity to charge. for example. 10+ gallons to go 200 miles or 3-4 gallons of gas to create the elec to go the same distance

  6. It's worth remembering that we've been working actively on electric cars for fully 100 years, and haven't come very close to a practical vehicle in that time.  Note that there have been battery-powered cars and trucks in certain industries for decades, but they're simply terrible and always have been despite intensive work on batteries.

Most technologies are like that: there are very small improvements, but nothing very impressive.  The exceptions have been communications and computers, but electronics won't get you down the highway.  I think you'll discover that battery technology evolves about as quickly as paint technology: paint is lots better than it was in 1930, but new developments have been awfully slow.
