Electric Guitar Size?What Size Is Good For Me?

I don't really know much about guitars, I thought that electric guitars didn't have sizes, anyway well some people talk about it and know I'm not sure like what size is good for me...

I'm 13 years old, around 150cm tall... not sure what information to give...

HI! I've played Guitar and Bass for over 20 years now, and I've only ever heard of TWO sizes: Standard and 3/4 (Three Quarters) But I think the 3/4's are really, REALLY small! They are probably designed for youngsters under ten.

I would say that, at 150cm, you can easily play a full size! You know, a few years back, I played with a great Bass Player who was just over 140cm!! Imagine the size of the neck!! But he played just fine.

As someone said in their answer, get one that feels comfortable: go to music shops and try Guitars until you find "The One"...

When I started playing the guitar I really didn't think about sizes either. Don't think anyone that I've talked to has ever mentioned about recommended sizes for people. Now I have 5 guitars, 2 electric, 3 acoustic, and one bass, with no thought of the size.

Get one that you feel comfortable playing with. Are you able to use your index, middle, ring, and pinky on all the frets of the guitar? Stuff like that.
