Electric Guitar?

Question

Well i've decided to play the guitar but i was wondering which guitar should i buy? i'm a beginner but i don't care, ill practice a lot for it. the sound i want to create is basically everything but including acoustic. also list a few brands please :)

When I first started playing guitar I bought a Fender Stratacoustic. It's an acoustic guitar shaped like an electric so it's smaller than most acoustics. Also, it has all the plug ins for an amp.

They aren't incredibly expensive either.

A great first electric would be an Epiphone SG G310. A cheaper more beginner version of the Gibson SG, it is cheap and looks good and has a great noise (I own one) for anything played on electric guitar. It is very versatile and is worth a look at.

As for acoustic guitars, I don't know much about brands, but nylon string would probably be more suitable for a beginner and you can pick one up for around $100-$150.

Some good brands are:

Gibson (including Epiphone and and Les Paul)

Ibanez

Fender

Gretsch

A good amp for a beginner would be around the vicinity of 10-15 watts. Roland, Peavey and Marshall have good amps.

on my opinion

ive been playing guitar for a while

and my first guitar was a fender stratocaster affinity series,

this guitar is still PERFECT to this day

with one of the best sounds

and it will be my guitar so ever

Fenders are best and hardly ever have problems

and

you can get starter kits with Fender

these are REALLY GOOD for beginners trust me :)
