Electric Pallet Jack help!!?

Question

I'm filling out this application and I'm a little nervous.... can some one help me fill in these questions?!!

why is safety important? I answered; to save my co-workers and my self from getting injured. (was this a good answer?)

How do you stop an electric pallet jack?

What is the "jack rabbit" feature on an electric jack?

To stop an electric pallet jack, you can do one of two things, which are:  (1) Lift the handle of the electric pallet jack all the way up (will also work to push the handle all of the way down) or (2) If you are going forward, with the hand accelerator just turn the opposite direction (Generally, this is the preferred method - because you will coast to a stop, instead of a sudden stop).

The jack rabbit feature for an electric pallet jack is an option that allows the machine to go at a faster speed.  For example, on the Crown electric pallet jack machines, there is an option located on the handle with a picture depicting a "rabbit" if you push in this button while your machine is in operation, the machine will go at a faster speed.

P.S. in regards to the safety question, you are correct in your assessment.  Might also want to comment on the fact that electric pallet jack machines have a lot of power, and if you are not "safe" in the operation of these types of machines you could possibly injure yourself, others, and even the product in the store/warehouse.

the safety answer is good == to stop a pallet jack you hit the brake or push the off button -- on the jack rabbit i do not know -- not to worry leave it blank and ask to be trained on the equipment!!!
