Question:

Electric abdomen trainer Dangerous?

A couple of years ago I bought an Electric abdomen trainer. You might know them. They stimulate the muscles with electro pulses. I used that machine intensively for a couple of months. Now, years later, I have big medical problems around the areas where I used to use that thing.

My abdominal muscles are pretty soar but the flanks are most affected. Furthermore, it feels like pins and needles in my entire lower abdomen. Weird thing about it is that these pins and needles are sometime felt till in my upper legs.

Just so you know. This pain is not food related, I don’t drink, and I quit smoking a year ago. I have been in and out of the doctor’s office, clinic and hospitals for the last 2 years. I have been diagnosed with an ulcer, ibs, anxiety, depression etc. but all these have been proven wrong.

Any information u can give me will be highly appreciated.

  1. There is a possibility that you have nerve damage.  These trainers SHOULDN'T do that, but if you over-used it . . . .

Have you told the doctors about this machine?

Have the dictors check for a "slipped disk" or possibly spinal arthritis, too.
