Electric cars?

Do you think that the government should start to look at getting electric cars? I think they should because then we will have less pollution in our earth.

I definitely agree.  Anything that reduces polution can only be a good think, so I don't think any avenues should be closed.  Everything from electric to bio-fuel should be considered.

I guess electric would work as every house has a supply of it.  One of the problems of biofuels is that they are pushing up food prices a lot.

Sometimes I get cynical and wonder whether the government really will do anything.  After all, they charge 60% tax on petrol, but nothing on electricity.

Let's hope one day someone in government agrees with you and cares as much!

Forget electric via the  electric grid ,  us still paying , a man in california has pattened a electo magnetic motor , yes in a car , it is without a crankshaft , and produces more energy than used even with everything on , and runs indefinately ,   as long as you want to take it, I wonder this though , I wonder long long before the oil cartel takes care of him , one way or another , Ive got the article on my favorites, yes I know its unbelievable , but,  . . .  people are smarter these days, Im building a ultra light electric myself , lithium ion polymer technology battery ,  the internet is wide open with information, if a person wants to hunt , I have over 200 favorites on my yahoo favorite  portal regarding modern leaps and bounds in the future  automobiles,  . . . r. banks  roswell nm     [e-mail]      6-26-08

I think the government should stay out of electric, Hybrid, Hydrogen powered and Fuel Cell electric cars completely. Let market forces and some young scientist find a new battery technology or fusion drive. And allow that Young scientist to patent his idea and become a billionaire.
