Want to use golf buggies adapted to supply catering event. need to know if it is legal for them to go on the road?

  1. Yes,if licenced taxed etc the same as a car,but i believe there is a separate test for electrically propelled vehicles such as milk floats.


  2. Not sure about golf buggies specifically but any 'alternative' transport (like quads or electric milk carts) have to have all the things a car needs to do that. I.e They must be taxed, have an MOT, and be registered and displaying the reg plate.

    They also have to be able to go over a certain speed

  4. It would only be legal if they had headlights and brakelights.

  5. Unlikely unless they are specifically adapted for road use - i.e. they conform to the rules for road vehicles as set out in the Highway Code.

  6. I suppose if its only the roads you're using and not motorways or dual carriage ways..

  7. There the same size as most euro cars right.
