  1. i believe at the bridge there is a little slot for the wrench that guitar most likely came with. It looks like a hexagon or something. U have to adjust it i believe. Search it on youtube. Bridge adjustment action. It shows exactly wat ure looking for.

  2. Hi xxRocker

Here is the procedure to set the neck. First, lput your eye near the headstock so as to look down towards the center of the neck.

There should be a clearance of 1/16" between string and fingerboard. Put one finger on the 1st fret and one on the 12th fret. That is a straight line. Now check the clearance.

If it touches, you will have to turn the truss road counter-clockwise 1/2 turn.

Loosen the middle strings and  loosen truss rod 1/2 turn , retune the 2 middle strings.

If it still touching a little, loosen another 1/2 turn. When you get it right at the spacing, it won;t buzz anymore.

Now, if the spacing is too much between fingerboard and string, you would have to tighten the truss rod 1/2 turn, and so forth.

That is how you set the neck.

P.S., A good string vibrates evenly in a nice loop. When the string vibrates erratically, it will hit the fret.

Having said this, once you have adjusted your neck, you can lower the action from the bridge.

  3. You will probably find this video very useful!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruTef2we5...

"Learn how to adjust the guitar string action..." It is for a strat but you can use the same technique on your ESP.

  4. i dunno bout electric but my acoustic had the same prob, we had to raise the neck a bit higher, maybe you could do that but under pro guidance!

ps- ask some other shops as well!

  5. Action is those tiny screws where the gutiar strings are sticking out from

    There are 6 of them

You will need to find a small enough tool that fits them and turn them

And ajust to your string preferences, High or Low

I use a kitchen fork to turn them, mines a Jackson Guitar

Bend one of the prongs on the fork so you got some working room.

And plus there is the Trus Rod

It is located on the Neck of your guitar

The truss rod makes the neck straighten

Or it could be the Guitar Nut, thats the thing that holds the strings into place at the Neck of your guitar

Myabe that is to low or something

    Good luck

    Jack of all trades

  6. ok

  7. raise the bottom bridge to raise the action this should be done by a proffessional
