Electric guitar strings......WHATS THE DIFFERENCE??

Question

Whats the difference between

.09 and .10???

Which one is better??

also whats going to happen if all the strings were set of .09 and then one of them snaps.......and change that string to the set of .10???

.1 is a thicker gauge by a tenth. I'd say .1 is better, since it'll have a bit more durability probably due to its thickness, but  only if both are the same brand of strings.

Meahwhile, if you put a single .1 string in a group of .09 strings... well, I suppose whoever is playing the guitar could get used to it, but it might through you off or whatever. Go see your local band store or go to wherever you bought your guitar in the first place.
