Electric lighting in France...?

what type of lamps/bulbs do they have in france. Are they the same as UK. have chanderlier and want to take it to france but if they do not have the same fitting will get rid.

don't think, in UK, the s***w of the bulbs are E39 (large) or E26 (small). in France our bulbs are E40 and E27 .... this is a differant height of the s***w.

You can get all the same types in France, but probably a bit more expensive.

same as here except that s***w fittings are much more popular over there compared to bayonet over here. but english s***w-in is same as french s***w-in
