Electric scooter batteries?

Question

for a 36volt electric scooter ....could you take three 12 volt lawnmower batteries and tie them into 36volts then use them for the scooter? Would that last longer because I can only ride for like 20 minutes with these small batteries

yes you can.  They both have a lead acid chemistry which can hold about 15 watt hours per pound. just find a place to put them and a way to hold them on.

you can use any type of battery, but, using a battery designed for the job will last a lot longer.

Deep cycle sealed lead acid batteries are designed to do this job the best.

don't get the type batteries used to start the car, get the kind used to power an RV's appliances all night long.

look for the most amp hours per dollar.
