1. If you have a source of H2 there is a fuel cell powered motorbike called the ENV or "Envy". It supposedly gets up to 40 and gets about 40 miles to a container of H2 the size of a water bottle.

Unfortunately the price is a bit higher than $2500, but there is the added advantage that the "engine", or core as they call it, is a portable fuel cell electric generator. A motorbike and emergency generator all in one.

  2. It looks interesting. I wish there was some place locally where I could test ride one. It looks very similar to some of the Chinese electric scooters sold on e-bay. They almost always exaggerate the top speeds on these things. I notice that speedometer is marked in km/hr, not miles per hour and the "red zone" starts at 45 km/hr. That only works out to 28 mph, so I would say you would be very unlikely to get it past 35 mph unless you drove it off a cliff. I would be very interested in something like that if the performance was better, but as it is, I would rather ride my bicycle.

  3. I cant see the link to the example you are looking for, but I recommend you go to a couple of online forums like visforvoltage.net or endless-sphere.com and ask other riders. Or try alienscooters.com they are pretty reputable.

Far as motorcycles or mopeds, you can convert one yourself for similar price. Look at examples of them at evalbum.com or electricmotorcycles.net . BTW any 2wheeler that can travel over 30 is usually classified as a motorcycle in most places.
