  1. Multiply the radius squared of the rotor by pi to get the area of the rotor, then multiply that by 5280 (feet in a mile), then multiply that by 10 (mph) to get cubic feet per hour, then divide that by 60 to get cubic feet per minute.

    Ex- rotor is 10 ft in diameter (5 foot radius)

    cfm@10mph = 5^2 * pi * 5280 * 10 =

    25 * 3.14 * 52800 / 60 =  69,080 cfm
