For school?

The most success I have had was contacting local companies who do charitable or social work that may require technical help.

I did a project for the United Cerebral Palsy Assoc. where my group and I created a Little Room for them which had a central control unit. We also created an LED light box that would use the full color spectrum through PCM and we also created vibrational modules with motor control.  

There are a lot of organizations that may have technical needs but not the ability or knowledge to seek help. These are great projects to work on and worthwhile.
