  1. I hope you have a terrible time. And I hope the blackouts that affect the citizens of Cuba affects you as well. Make sure to smile a lot to the oppressed people of that nation maybe they will throw tomatoes at you.

  2. In Cuba they use the " American style" plugs ( small plug with

flat pins) If you are from Europe you definitly need an adaptor

plug. ( not available in Cuba) For electronic devices such as a laptop an adaptor with surge protector is recommended , because there are sometimes voltages peaks on the electrical net.

  3. Better to always carry a 'travel adaptor' .

  4. In Cuba, electricity is 110V, 60Hz, but, depending on the resort you're staying at, they use 220V. Check the hotel information for the plug usage. But either way, if you don't have dual voltage on your appliances, you'll need a converter as well as an adapter. If you have dual voltage, just an adapter.

It's best to take it with you because in most cases you'll need it. And the adapter would be the one used for 'the caribbean'.

The outlets take flat prong plugs.

If you are taking anything like a laptop, you'll need a different adapter plug for that.

Otherwise, the regular adapter/converters are all you'll need for your appliances.

    Have an amazing time!!
