i'm curious as to what some of the current electrical engineers are doing, what sort of projects he or she is working on, where they work, is it anything like or similar to the laboratory procedures that was completed when he or she went to a university. as for the double e majors, what are you guys specializing in? about a month or so ago, my university held their senior projects and i would say about 85 percent of the seniors picked robotics, while the remaining seniors picked communication and computers. what are some demanding types of specializations you may know of? i'm asking because it's summer break, i'm very bored, and i just am curious as to what i can do with my major. thanks in advance!!

  1. You never know!  I would never have dreamed that for 20 years I would be designing and building opththalmic devices for diagnostics (I deal with the eyes).  I always thought I would be doing RF.

I don't know why robotics is so popular.  I don't get it!   There are so many more interesting things to do out there...
