I changed the alternator and battery on my car and then went and had them tested. Alternator is charging and battery is good but when i park it at night by morning the battery is dead. I make sure nothing is left on. I do not know what could have shorted out or even where to begin. Please help. Thank you

  1. Take the + terminal off the battery.Get an ohm meter and check that cable for a ground. There probably is one.Now you follow that cable to the fuse panel and start pulling fuses till it (the ground gos away.If with all fuses pulled you still have a gnd then check that cable (and anything its attached to) till you find it.It takes a while.Don't forget where each fuse gos.(( If you leave the + (red) cable off the bat over night then it won't drain it.))
