Electricians a few questions for you...?

A few questions...Did you get paid during apprenticeship? How much are you making an hour now that you are through that? Is it fun at the job scene (i know its hard work but is there good laughs too). How hard was it to get where you are?

My b/f is an electrician. He likes it. There is a lot of variety of work. He's in airconditioners and also minor electrical work. He got paid for his apprenticeship, every year he got a rise. Now he gets paid $23/hr.

He said the study is not hard at all, you just need to put in some time in it. He got one day a week for his TAFE studies.

Yes you get paid.  After your apprenticeship, $28 in NM, $39 in NV.  Yes, fun at the job, guys and gals are jokers.  Wasn't hard.  Work hard and have pride in your work.  Journeyman Wireman 17yrs.  Good luck..
