I'm looking for something that i can plug into my wall outlet that will monitor volts, amps, electrical noise, and over/under voltage and will display the results on my computer. Anyone know of any such device?

  1. There are devices like that, they are called chart recorders. They are extremely expensive. Well over 1000 dollars each. Some as high as 6000 dollars.

  2. Fluke makes one for under $700; link below.

  3. There is a company called P3.  They make a device called Kill-A-Watt.  The current model is the P4400.  It sells at Home Deport for around $40, but you can buy it online, say from Amazon, for around $23.

It's 110v, plugs into the socket, and then you can plug your device(s) into the meter.  It contains an LCD readout and selector buttons to read voltage, amps, watts, and kilowatt-hours (Kwh) over a period of time.
