I have invented a machine which could produce large amount of electricity without fuel.

my problem is how to market it which other people cannot follow my invention because i know even with patent people can slightly change my design and patent it for themsleves

  1. Uh huh.

Like thousands of people before you with an "energy from nothing" machine, yours will fail to stand up to any scrutiny whatsoever, and you will be revealed to be a fraud.

If it REALLY did such a thing, here's what you do:

    1. Hook it up to your house's power supply.  Any surplus you generate goes to the grid, your meter runs backwards - you'll actually get a credit instead of a bill (I'm not making that up - people with large solar panel systems do that).

    2. Use the money you make to build a bigger/better one.

Eventually, you should have enough money to build your own power station, even a small one.  Keep on going....

In all seriousness, a good patent lawyer can write a patent that is difficult for someone to get around by just changing the design a little.  But beware - the US Patent office will not consider perpetual motion machine patents without a working model.  So bring in your machine and convince them.

As for marketing it - forget about it - even if you really did invent it, the first person to buy it would immediately pull it apart and figure out what you did - with no patent protection, you'd be screwed almost immediately.

  2. I'll bet your idea is a perpetual motion machine.  These devices are already patented.

  3. Just share it with the world , "Mr EDISON"

Heck with monetary gain, the world needs heroes..

    the world needs your help.

"What do you gain if you own all the treasures in the world but lose your soul?"

    Think long term..lololol

  4. There has to be some sort of "fuel" to produce energy. It might not be fossil fuel or coal or even water, but there has to be something to create energy. Unless you have come up with a perpetual motion machine, then you should hire a patent attorney and get your product out there so you can save the world before it is too late.

  5. Well, if this is a wind powered machine, it likely is easy enough to replicate its function.

We can create electrical energy with wind blowing a stream of ions to a greater separation, gathering in a pair of metal pipes that gives many thousands of volts PD. The problem has always been to maintain a constant usable output with varying winds. We can separate the ions with a magnetic field, but even that requires a velocity of the ion stream that is predictable.

My model could produce 20 kw output with a 30 km/h wind, but in a 20 km/h wind it would stall.

But I tend to think of this as using wind as a fuel.

  6. I wouldn't do that if I were you. Look up John Searl and T Henry Moray, and see what happened to them. If you want to live AND profit from it, share the technology and just skim what you can from local ppl who want one.

The people you're going up against have GUNS.

  7. I have too it is called a dam.
