strings of christmas lights were made of miniature lamps connected in series. if one lamp is removed, what would happen?

It would upset the whole santa~ific  gravitational perspective of the universe rendering Rudolph's nose inoperable  and could result in a fiery sleigh crash.  

   Don't do it.

     If we don't get any presents this year we will know it was because of you, and we will beat you with sugar plums.

the rest of the lights would go out, but christmas lights are connected in parallel i believe. thats why one can blow and the rest stay on.

all the lights would go out.  you would need a paralell circuit for a light not to go out
